Harsh Babbar, M.D., is the medical director of the critical care unit at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Babbar received his medical degree from the Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center in New York, NY, where he was awarded Best Resident of the Year for 2003-2004. Following his residency, he was accepted into a three-year fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and was recognized as Best Clinic Fellow of the Year 2007-2008.
Dr. Babbar is board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society. He is also board certified in sleep medicine. His professional interests include lung cancer and obstructive airway diseases.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading and eating chocolate.
