Christine Mbakwe, M.D., earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern and specializes in internal medicine. With three years of residency training completed in June 2024, she provides care to adults for chronic medical conditions. Dr. Mbakwe speaks English and conversational Spanish, and she is a member of the University of Iowa Gold Humanism Honor Society. Passionate about walking with patients through their healthcare journeys, she emphasizes comfort, safety and empowerment. Outside the clinic, she enjoys dance classes, traveling and volunteering.
